Rural Health Transformation

Georgia received $218 million dollars in 2026 as part of a Federal progam to transform rural health care.  There are four remaining years.  This program has a subjective component in the remaining years.  The Federal Government will evaluate how Georgia is transforming rural health.  A favorable evaluation will ensure we receive $218 million again!!

Clearly, HB1585 is transforming access to patient lodging and closes the loop when a rural Georgian of modest means must find lodging in Atlanta, Augusta, Macon, Columbus, or Savannah to receive daily treatments or just needs a couple of days to recover from a treatment’s side effects.
